You have the absolute right to request the permanent deletion of your Cuvly account, authentication credentials, and all associated personal health telemetry at any time. We process account deletions free of charge, with zero friction.
How to Request Account & Data Deletion
We provide two simple methods to permanently delete your Cuvly account and all related data:
Method 1: Instantly from the Cuvly Mobile App (Recommended)
If you have the Cuvly app installed on your iPhone or Android device, you can trigger immediate deletion directly from your account settings:
- Open the Cuvly app on your device.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Select Privacy & Data Control.
- Tap Delete Account & History (highlighted in red).
- Confirm your decision in the prompt by selecting Delete Permanently.
Your session will be immediately terminated, and your account credentials and personal health records will be permanently erased.
Method 2: Web Deletion Request (If App is Uninstalled)
If you have uninstalled the Cuvly application, cannot access your mobile device, or prefer to request deletion via email, you may submit a request directly to our Data Protection Team:
- Send an email to: cuvly.support@aigentro.com
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
- Please provide the exact email address associated with your registered Cuvly account so we can verify and locate your records.
Our team will process your deletion request within 48 to 72 business hours and send an email confirmation once your account and all associated telemetry have been permanently purged.
What Data is Deleted?
When an account deletion request is processed, the following categories of data are permanently and irreversibly purged from our active databases and backup systems:
- Account Credentials: Your full name, email address, password hash, and active authentication session tokens.
- Barcode Scan History: All scanned food and beverage items, custom barcode records, and nutrition lookups.
- Protocol & Curriculum Progress: Your 90-day reset curriculum milestones, streak counters, completed daily action items, and reflection notes.
- Check-in & Craving Telemetry: All logged daily mood ratings, energy scores, craving timer entries, and trigger tags.
- Personal Preferences: Daily sugar targets, unit preferences (grams/teaspoons), reminder schedules, and notification tokens.
Data Retention Policy & Purge Schedule
Upon confirming deletion:
- Immediate Action: Your account is instantly deactivated, preventing any future logins, notifications, or data collection.
- 30-Day Purge Cycle: All database records and encrypted server backups are completely purged within a maximum of 30 calendar days.
- No Data Retained: We do not retain copies of your personal dietary habits or health metrics after this 30-day window.
Important Note on Subscriptions
Deleting your Cuvly account does not automatically cancel active paid subscriptions billed through Apple ID or Google Play. To prevent future automated billing by Apple or Google, please ensure you cancel your subscription directly in your platform account settings:
- iOS: Settings > [Your Apple ID] > Subscriptions > Cuvly > Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play Store > Profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Cuvly > Cancel.
